Remember me! – probably not (but hopefully your mum and dad might) last time I saw you, you were probably about 2 or 3 years old doing forward rolls on the crash mats at Greentop in Sheffield. Fantastic to see that you are now doing so well!

Well, you’ve got quite a group of fans around you! It’s not surprising hence what you can do is better than what an average kid like me gets to see in a Spiderman flick. Anyway, people have probably told you over and over about how good you are, so I’m not going to bore you by being repetitive. (although it is tempting)

I’m curious though: I’m seeing your explosive tumbling skills everywhere on the net and on TV, but what about the other things (like the vault for instance)? Are you (going to be) an all round gymnast or do you simply specialize in tumbling?

Well, whatever your answer will be, I still think what you’re doing is out of this world and it’s really hard to imagine someone your age doing all that stuff. Then again, the idea of my dad popping up and doing a dozen back flips sounds even more impossible.

But hey, it’s like they say: age ain’t nothing but a number.

Keep up the amazing work and be careful!

That’s just stupid. I think people don’t want to believe he’s as young as he is because then they’d have to admit they were no where in the vicinity of his level of fitness and agility at that age. Or maybe it’s because it’ll force them to come to the realisation that their own little runt will never be a gold medalist.

But I guess we’ll be seeing this more often. Remember the 2008 Olympics, where people were saying those Chinese girls were underage? It was only because they did so well. Jealousy, it’s horrible.

Jordan, I wish you the best of luck. It looks like you were built for this, so I’m hoping to see you win at the Olympics one day!

my name is shannon docherty.i am 12 years old (the same as u),and i just wanted 2 leave this message 2 tell u how great u r at gymnastics.i’ve always wanted 2 do gymnastics but i dont think i will b as good as u .i saw ure video on youtube and i immediately got inspired by u.hopefully u go on 2 b number 1 in the world.if u are going 2 the commonwealth games or the olympics in 2012 i might c u there, because i am currently training in greenock scotland 2 b a runner.i am good at allsorts of running but the 1 that i am focusing on is the sprint (100m).well thats all i better say,i will probably b boring u 2 sleep now .i hope 2 hear from u very soon.

ur so beautiful and strong ;) keep on going.and as i would say “be who want 2 b,not what people want 2 c 2:)

Hi, I think you’re amazing at gymnastics. I have recently started gymnastics and I have always wanted to but never really got round to it, but I am glad I have started now. I look up to you and really want to be as good as you. Probably never will be, but will try my best. Anyway, keep up the very good work and keep practising, don’t stop. Good Luck in all your future competitions aswell.
